Purchase Ledger – Procurement

Location: Solihull
Salary: £20,000 + Annual Bonus + Other Benefits
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am – 5pm)

RZ Group are currently working closely with a financial services company based in the Solihull area who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger to work in the Procurement team.

This will not be your standard Purchase Ledger role as you will also be involved in the Procurement team ensuring the goods and services required by the property function are purchased in a timely manner. Key duties will include:

  • Tracking and logging invoices as received
  • Support the procurement function in the identification of suitable supply solutions
  • Managing the initial receipt of goods/handle returns/handling payments for services
  • Timely analysis of statements received from suppliers

Key Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge and experience of purchase ledger activities
  • Knowledge of the procurement process within a corporate environment would be highly advantageous
  • Proven customer service and communications skills are essential
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with various business areas and senior members of staff
  • Must be analytical and experienced in reviewing data
