Project Manager (Mergers / Acquisitions)

Location: Skelmersdale
Duration: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Benefits

The Role:

You will expected to take on responsibility for the management of the delivery of small / medium sized IT Infrastructure & service related projects. The portfolio would include (but not limited to) Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), site relocations and management of external vendors / suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead business analysis, project management and governance across a portfolio of IT projects
  • Manage internal & external technical teams
  • Develop strong relationships with external vendors and suppliers
  • Produce accurate project documentation
  • Formulate project budgets and forecasts
  • Manage risks, issues and dependencies
  • Manage business change activities
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with fellow colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers

Key Skills:

  • Significant experience working on Mergers or Acquisitions (M&A)
  • IT integration & transformation experience
  • Sound knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g. Waterfall/Agile)
  • Significant experience in working with and managing IT 3rd party service providers
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Professional PM certification – PMP, Prince2 and/or APM PMQ
