Accounts Officer – Solihull based

Currently recruiting on behalf of a UK based Financial Services business who due to continued business growth are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Officer to join their dedicated team to assist with the accounts function across the organisation.
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, the ability to produce accurate work within specified timelines and able to handle a busy and varied workload.
You will be responsible for Processing invoices and bank statements through the nominal ledger – Preparing prepayment schedules – Deal with enquiries from suppliers, banks and auditors – Handle bank reconciliations.
- Either part or fully AAT qualified OR 18 months experience in a finance based department
- Ability to analyse large volumes of data
- Strong IT skills particularly excel
- Able to maintain high levels of accuracy when working to tight deadlines
- The confidence to ask questions when needed to aid understanding and development
