RZ Group have an exciting opportunity with one of our highly regarded clients, an award winning banking organisation based in Solihull.
You will join a dedicated accounts team to assist with the accounts function across the organisation. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, the ability to produce accurate work within specified timelines and able to handle a busy and varied workload.
The successful candidate will strive to develop good working relationships with both internal and external parties and have a desire to pursue a career within the finance industry.
Your duties will include:
Processing invoices and bank statements through the nominal ledger
Preparing prepayment schedules
Deal with enquiries from suppliers, banks and auditors
Handle bank reconciliations, investment and intercompany accounts
- Either part or fully AAT qualified OR 18 months experience in a finance based department
- Ability to analyse large volumes of data
- Strong IT skills particularly excel
- Able to maintain high levels of accuracy when working to tight deadlines
- The confidence to ask questions when needed to aid understanding and development
